Sorry its been so long since I have updated this thing we call a Blog. School is keeping me busy, but anyway, I'm back and here with a new post.
Dark Shadows, is the next edition of the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp film series. Many of you may have already seen Alice in Wonderland, Edward Scissorhands, or the many other films the two have worked together on in the past. This new film is a re-make of the 1960's Gothic Horror Sopa Opera with the same name. The film is due out in theaters in May of 2012.
The film will follow the life of Barnabas Collins, of the Collins family. And will let the audience see what his life is like throughout the years. Now if you have seen or heard of the 60's sopa opera, then you may already know what the twist in this film will be, if not (or if you just don't want to know, then let me tell you to stop reading.... here) The twist in thsi film is the fact that Barnabas is from the 18th century, and the film itself takes place in 1972. You can do the math on that one.
Hopefully this Burton film will stay up to par with his other works, and provide the audience with an exciting look at what is sure to be an interesting take on the Vampire genre.
